Kristen Gunther lives in Lander with her husband and son and works as the VP of Strategy and Partnerships for OtterSpace Electric Vehicle - a Wyoming-based EV charging company working statewide. Prior to joining OtterSpace, she worked as Program Director at the Wyoming Outdoor Council and has also worked extensively in the public policy and strategic communications realm nationwide. She holds a PhD in Ecology via the Department of Ecosystem Science and Management at the University of Wyoming, where she completed interdisciplinary research focused on improving communications between researchers, agricultural producers, and other ecosystem stakeholders; she also holds an MFA in creative writing from UW and completed her undergraduate work at Bowdoin College.
Kristen is an active member of Lander Rotary and in her free time loves to spend time backpacking, hunting, and exploring the great outdoors with her family and two bird dogs - especially the Winds, the Wyoming Range, and the Red Desert. She's delighted to join the WRCCF board and looks forward to supporting exciting developments for the museums of the Wind River Valley.
